Namibia

Namibia is located at the Atlantic coast of southwestern Africa. It is characterized by its diverse geography, including the Namib Desert along the coast, the Kalahari Desert in the east, and the escarpment of the Central Plateau. The country experiences a variety of climates, ranging from arid and semi-arid in most regions to a more temperate climate in the central highlands. Climate change impacts including enhanced temperatures, changing precipitation patterns, and enhanced drought frequency impact the country’s water resources and makes it susceptible to desertification and other climate-related risks.
